Welcome! Tim Paulissen Conservative Leadership for League City’s Future
Timothy (Tim) Paulissen, longtime
League City resident and business owner has announced his candidacy
for League City Council, Position 6, in the May 12th election.
Having lived in the Oaks of Clear Creek since 1994, Tim has served
on the subdivisions Homeowners Association Board for twelve years,
serving as President for nine years. “I have really enjoyed working
for the residents of the Oaks of Clear Creek, and have learned a lot
about working with the City. I’ve learned what the priorities of
League City Citizens are.” Said Paulissen. What Does it mean to be Conservative It seems that
conservative means different things to different candidates. To me,
being conservative is more than talking about tax reduction,
balanced budgets, and controlled spending. It’s about open
government, due diligence, and integrity of process. I believe most
of the fiscal problems League City is experiencing today are a
direct result of decisions being made without consensus, without
careful planning, and without adequate safeguards in place to
prevent even the appearance of conflicts of interest. |
